Street Machine and Muscle Car Nationals

For 26 years, the Street Machine and Muscle Car Nationals has stopped by Springfield, MO on their tour across the country. The show features a fantastic group of custom, high-performance (barely street legal) hot rods and trucks. The event is well worth the trek out to Springfield—you’ll get to rock out during the Steve Moeller Band concert, get your adrenaline going at the burnout and demotion derby, and see the gnarliest truck on the road—the MAGNATUDE!

Date: September 27^th & 28^th, 2014.

Location: Ozark Empire Fairgrounds Springfield, MO.

Events: In addition to great competitions, the Street Machine and Muscle Car Nationals will feature a concert by the Steve Moeller Band on the Coors Light main stage. If that doesn’t get your blood going, then check this out—the MAGNATUDE is coming to town! All 20,000 horsepower of him, thanks to the jet engine that he’s sporting.

Competition: The event includes a bunch of competitions including the Mickey Thompson Tires Burnout Competition, Mickey Thompson Pro-Judged Show-N-Shine Competition (with over 65 awards), Lucas Oil Dyno Challenge, the Make It and Take It Challenge, and my ultimate favorite, the demolition derby on Saturday night.
