Moving to Naxxar

Malta Motor Vehicle Regulations for Importing

You will also need to show a copy of the certificate of conformity of the vehicle which you can get through the car manufacturer. If you want to get Malta tags while you are in the country, you will need to pay for the registration. This registration fee will be determined by the value of your vehicle and the type of emissions currently on your vehicle. You will need a driver’s license in Malta if you plan on driving while you are there. You can also transfer your tags from the United States over to Malta while you are there.
