Regulations for import and registration of vehicles.
Additionally there are specific laws in Portugal that cater to import of vehicles. Even though it adheres to the EU standards of emission control, there are other aspects to consider. As a tourist you are allowed to import your vehicle for 180 days in 1 year but the vehicle has to be in your name and used only for your family.
