What you need to know about Importing to Uganda.
You will find that importing to Uganda is not blocked by several rules that you cannot possibly follow. These rules are simple and within reason. Some of these rules and regulations include:

Taxes and Duties to Pay for Importing.
Import duties are part of the general agreement on Trade and Tariffs, or GATT and the government of Ugandan. Taxes are set at the following:
- 17% VAT.
- 15% Import Duty.
- 2% Import Communication.
- 6% withholding tax.
- 10% excise tax.
