There is quite a lot of different paperwork that you will have to take care and complete in order to ship a car to the country. You have to submit the documents at the port in the US, the Transit port in India or Iran and then when the vehicle enters Uzbekistan. As per the laws in Uzbekistan, all imported goods and vehicles are taxed and verification is done on the

ownership and validity. The documents you need to provide Uzbekistan Customs Department include:

• Insurance documents and certificate
• Residence or work permit of the owner
• Passport and photo ID

Transportation of Your Car from the USA

You need to register yourself as an importer as per the laws introduced in 2010 in Uzbekistan. The country has a rugged terrain of mountains, vast valleys and it’s a landlocked country. For cars which have up to 1000cc of the engine, the amount that you have to pay is 20% + $1.8 for every additional cc. For cars with engine capacity of 1000cc to 1500cc, you need to pay 30% +$2.
