Auto import methods.
To ship a vehicle over, you will need to determine which method of shipping works best for you; Roll On/ Roll Off or Container shipping. If you only have a certain amount of money to spend on shipping, Roll-On/Roll-Off may be the answer for you. The freight shipping charges are determined by how many people are shipping vehicles when you are so the charges are divided. There are a few rules and regulations to follow with this method of shipping- no personal items can be left inside the vehicle. You cannot leave any air conditioning gas in the air conditioning unit either.
With this shipping method, your vehicle will be harnessed onto the deck of the ship and then driven off once it reaches one of the ports in Montenegro namely, the Port of Bar, Port of Kotor, or Port of Zelenika. These are the three main ports for shipping into this country. In order to import here, you will need to hire A1 Auto Transport Service to assist you with this type of import. With RORO, you will also need to leave about 1/4 tank of gas in the tank, floor mats, spare tire, and an extra key as well. You cannot have any anti-theft alarms working during transport.
If you choose container shipping, this method will be more expensive because it offers better protection and safety. If you want to ship some personal belongings with your vehicle when you plan to move to Montenegro, this is the best way. You can decide between two sizes; 20 and 40 foot containers. Both sizes are large enough to house your vehicle and personal belongings too.
