Methods of Shipping.
Now, there are quite a lot of different ways to ship a vehicle and it is best if you go for either a Roll-on/Roll-off or Container shipping. If you are on a tight budget then RORO is definitely your best bet. This is the cheapest way to ship over the sea and it is also the fastest. There are, however, some things that you would have to take into consideration. For instance, you wouldn’t be allowed to ship any other personal belongings apart from the car jack, spare tire and floor mats which can be left in the car. You have to empty out the fuel tank and leave only ¼ full. You should also get rid of all air conditioner gasses.
However, you can also go for the container shipping option. This is going to require you to choose between a 20ft and a 40ft container to store your vehicle within. Furthermore, you can also ship as many household goods or personal belongings with the container as you want. Of course, this is the more expensive sea-bound transportation method and it’s also slower but it gives you great value, especially if you have a lot of personal belongings to ship.
