Moving my car to Connecticut

I thought taking my car to Connecticut was going to be the most difficult part of the move. And until I found Joe and A1 Auto Transport, it was. Fortunately, from that point forward it was handled flawlessly. A month ago, I tried a website which promised to find me a company with great rates. More than a dozen carriers took me up on the offer, so I chose the one that was the cheapest.

Instead of showing up, he called on the shipping date to tell me his truck is getting repairs. I waited 2 more days before finally cancelling the order. I lost a week pointlessly, and my family and I were supposed to move 2 weeks later. I searched some more and chose a broker with a seemingly good reputation. After a week of waiting, I finally stopped waiting for him to find me a truck.

Finally, a work colleague to which I was complaining about the situation, recommended A1 Auto Transport. He’d used them in the past and recommended them with a ‘thumbs up.’ I called Joe that same day. He told me it was peak shipping season. Some companies, instead of telling you they’re full, may choose to simply let you wait in case one of their other clients cancels. Fortunately, he had a truck available, and he sent it my way immediately. In a couple of hours, my car was on its way to Connecticut.
