One of the more unique shows in the United States is the Lake Garnett Grand Prix Revival deep in the heart of Kansas. This two-day event commemorates the 50th anniversary of the AC Cobra winning the FIA World Championships in 1965.
The event begins on Friday night with a BBQ and social mixer at the Garnett Inn and Suites. Starting bright and early on Saturday, attendees can go through registration and begin browsing through the show in downtown. Cars will include those in the track and autocross events, as well as plenty of classic cars. After checking out the autos, make sure to hop over to the Cobra Extravaganza which is a track event featuring Cobras (and plenty of V8s)! There will also be spectator rides that will allow attendees to take rides in some awesome autos around the track. Towards the end of the day will be the Parade of Cars as well as the famous Autocross Event.
After a great Saturday, the event will follow up with a great Sunday of events including multiple Parade Laps with over 150 automobiles. If you are going to be driving in this event, make sure to check out the driving rules to ensure all attendees are safe. Finally, the event will conclude with the Track race and plenty of food and refreshments.
