Kars Unlimited: Streetscene 2015

Kars Unlimited, a nonprofit group of car enthusiasts in Alleghany Highlands, will be hosting their 37th annual Streetscene Car Show! This year’s event will feature over 200 vehicles of all shapes and sizes, a live concert on Saturday night featuring Stone Canyon and capped off with a fireworks show, a 50/50 raffle, drawing for a flat screen t.v., and lots of food and drink stands.

History: Kars Unlimited was founded in Convington in 1976 and helped bring together car enthusiasts for informal cruise ins, charities/fundraisers, and help repairing/restoring each other’s’ cars. In the 1980s, the group became more formalized and began an official car show each year that featured classic cars, motorcycles, and trucks of all kinds—and free of charge! Today, the event features a little bit of old and new, with modern updates like the Saturday night concert mixed in with the traditional car show.
