Georgia Mountain Moonshine Cruiz-In

This year marks the 5th annual Georgia Mountain Moonshine Cruiz-In, and as always, there are plenty of great events for people of all ages. The event includes a swap meet, a 60 mile cruise, great music, a parade, a pioneer village, and crafts for children.

On August 7th, vendors will begin setting up at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, followed by a 10am cruise and a Welcome Party at Lake Chatuge Lodge at 6pm. On August 8th, the event site opens at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. On the final day, awards and giveaways will be announced at 4pm, and the event will conclude with the Downtown Hiawassee Street Dance.

Dates: August 7-9, 2014.

Music: Musical guests include Bobby Parish, Gregg Shook of the Appalachian Outlaws, Tommy Townsend, Steven Philips and the Midnight Express, and Breaking Grass.

Location: Hiawassee, Georgia (Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds).

Times: Show starts at 9AM daily. The auction starts at Noon on Friday, 10AM on Saturday, and Noon on Sunday.
