Prices Factors
Although we do not fix our prices, A1-AT offers incredibly low rates for moving RVs. When calculating the cost to move, we will take the following factors into account:
- The specifications
- How far apart are our pick-up and delivery locations are
- The services you need
- season of the year
- Prices of fuel during the period
Domestic Delivery
To move goods outside the US, A1-AT uses the water method(i.e., a boat using the roll-on/roll-off loading method). So, we would haul to the target nation by ship. Then, using a vehicle, we would haul it directly from the port to the desired location.
International Hauling
Throughout the United States, we haul using trucks. Our customers can decide to choose either the enclosed or the open-air method.
Different Methods
There are several options for moving:
- Flat Rack: A cost-effective choice is a flat rack, which involves mounting your RV on an open, flat rack on board a ship.
- Container method: we would put it inside a container and haul it in a boat. Due to the additional level of security provided by the container, it is expensive.
- Open Air: It is a reasonable option, even without additional protection, to move the RV on a hauler or a large flatbed trailer.
- Enclosed Shipping: We would use this method to haul inside a container. We would then attach the container to a freight truck and drive it to your destination.
Tips to Prepare It
Your RV needs to be in good working order to ensure delivery to your destination. The preparations you must make are as follows:
- First, visit a mechanic to get it ready for moving.
- Next, lock all the doors, windows, and cabinets.
- Next, make sure you turn off all electric and gas appliances.
- Finally, make a list of all damage.
- Finally, ensure that you have all the documentation required for international moving.
- We wouldn't be responsible for any lost items, so please remove all personal items from the RV.
